After spending new years in Ireland with him and then having him sleep on my lap the whole way back from Ireland id like to think we are mates.

Ive been looking after him from time to time and yesterday hung out all day and because it was so cold gave him the scarf he’s wearing.

Its safe to say if you visit my studio regularly you will at some point be lucky enough to meet him.

After having been sent the press release and images i couldn’t wait to see the show. Having worked in the industry and also working on the Damien Hirst Skull Jack was releasing his very own body of work for the first time.
The collection consists of 8 highly bespoke pieces that each sits in it very own hand made ornate bell jar which in turn sits in a once again bespoke wooden cabinet with its very own bespoke key to boot!

To say i was impressed is an understatement.

With this journal i am writing you will soon see that it is important to me that the artists that i write about no matter how talented have to be as equal in their talent as in character. Jack is no exception, a gentleman and was kind enough to talk me through his work and allow me to hold and scrutinise his in my opinion works of art.

The pictures really are no guide to how amazing the pieces are, with even hidden surfaces finished immaculately with a whole variety of stones, enamel and hidden clasps.

Jack sir, i take my hat off to you, congratulations.
