KETEL ONE X THE MODERN CRAFT PROJECT

As a panel member for the Ketel One Vodka Modern Craft Project I was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit their distillery in the Netherlands.

I was originally uncertain why a vodka brand would want to create a worldwide competition in search of the finest modern craftsman, what was their motivation.

Ketel One is made by the Nolet distillery , a ten generation family run business that treats its work like any true craftsman. It was fascinating to see that a company as large as they are still withheld their traditional ways of distilling and running the business.

I had the pleasure this week of going to the Tim Walker exhibition and book launch in the complimentary surroundings of Somerset House.
It was as one would imagine a fairy tale visual pleasure with giant dolls and Humpty Dumpty set props sat alongside the photography.

I went to see my friend Rob the other night as he is over from Berlin to exhibit in a group show in the crypt at No.1 Marylebone. As always he never ceases to amaze me with his highly skilled works.
Sat alongside good company in the group show with the Chapman Brothers, Polly Morgan and John Isaacs to name just a few.
