On A beautiful day whilst i was in New York i cycled out to the Green-Wood Cemetery which covers 478 acres, quite an amazing place.

GQ Style and Carolina Herrara Party

So on Tuesday i went down to the St Martins Lane hotel to celebrate the Latest edition of GQ STyle (which Features the Nicola Formichetti shoot with my jewellery in) and the launch of 212 VIP MEN fragrance by Carolina Herrara. Thankyou GQ for a boozy tuesday night and a new bottle of fragrance.

My brother is a hairstylist and whilst i was in NYC was working with Terry Richardson. I passed by when they were shooting one day and Terry snapped off this picture for his diary. Just a shame my my eldest brother wasn’t there aswell.

Billy Childish

For those who don’t know, Billy Childish is an English artist, painter, author, poet, photographer, film maker, singer and guitarist who has published over 40 collections of poetry, released around 120 records and over 1000 paintings.
Whilst in NYC i was fortunate enough to go to an exhibition of his at which he also read some of his poetry, sang and had a Q and A.
I also had the great pleasure of meeting him and to find the man is a true gentleman. So i would say to you that if you have any interest in the arts you should google away and watch one of the many interviews, films or performances on or by this intriguing man.

NYC

So apologies for the lack of journal content, i have been away in NYC visiting my brother and friends whilst also getting in some meetings. I took my bike as its my favourite way to see a city. Went surfing for the first time ever and also drove upstate to help my brother do some work on his barn he is renovating. All in all an amazing time so i will be sure to follow this up with some posts of what i got up to.
